Must Have Photos On Your Wedding Day Part 1

Did your photographer asked you to send them a wedding day must have photo list but you have no idea where to start?

Well that is why I have created this series. What started as fun reel ideas, has now turned into a blog post. The purpose is to help bride and grooms create a must have wedding day photo list. Each part to this series is a different moment that I would personally add to my wedding day photo list. This is my own opinion that comes from being a full time wedding photographer.

Part 1 - First Look With Parent Figure(s)

Traditionally a parent first look is done with the bride and her father. However, I say throw tradition out the window. Some brides don’t have the honor to do the first look with their dad or would rather do it with their mom, or both mom and dad, or someone who is their parent figure.

This first look can be done with both parents, one, or someone who you simply define as your parent figure. The moment comes with lots of raw emotions, and tears. I cry almost every time I get to capture this first look. It’s the perfect time to focus on capturing candids and the raw emotions. Moments like this, is how you are able to tell a story of the wedding day through photos.

Add this to your must have wedding photos list.
